A pioneer of excellence and sustainability, Villa Franciacorta—a family-owned winery now in its third generation—has shaped the history of Franciacorta wines since 1960. 

Founded by Alessandro Bianchi, who led the winery until 2020, Villa Franciacorta has deep roots in the historic production of white and red wines, recognized for their quality since the 16th century. As one of the founding members of the Franciacorta Protection Consortium, Alessandro Bianchi firmly believed in the potential of this land, passing on his vision to his daughter Roberta Bianchi and her husband Paolo Pizziol, who now lead the company alongside their children Alessio and Matteo.

Located in the historic village of Monticelli Brusati, Villa Franciacorta produces exclusively vintage Franciacorta wines from its own organically grown grapes, vinified with selected indigenous yeasts. In the 1970s, a zoning project identified 46 hectares of vineyards in the best plots, some featuring heroic slopes of up to 45%, capable of enhancing the marine-origin terroir. Grapes from each parcel are vinified separately, creating a palette of base wines that express the unique characteristics of different micro-terroirs.

The underground winery, perfectly integrated into the landscape, blends innovation with tradition. Manual riddling, long aging on lees, and artisanal practices ensure the uniqueness and exclusivity of every bottle, reflecting the company’s philosophy of respect for nature and dedication to quality. Advanced tools like Biopass monitor soil biodiversity and organic matter, fostering vineyard resilience, while ISO 14001 certification underscores its commitment to sustainability in both processes and products.

Villa Franciacorta is also a destination, thanks to Villa Gradoni Charme & Nature, which welcomes visitors in 22 perfectly restored historic residences, and Osteria Éla, where Chef Andrea Marenzi reinterprets local flavors.

Fondée par Alessandro Bianchi, qui a dirigé l’entreprise jusqu’en 2020, Villa Franciacorta a des racines profondes dans la production historique de vins blancs et rouges, reconnus pour leur qualité depuis le XVIe siècle. Située dans le village historique de Monticelli Brusati, Villa Franciacorta produit exclusivement des Franciacorta millésimés à partir de ses propres raisins biologiques, vinifiés avec des levures autochtones sélectionnées. Dans les années 1970, un projet de zonage a identifié 46 hectares de vignobles sur les meilleures parcelles, dont certaines présentent des pentes héroïques allant jusqu’à 45 %, mettant en valeur le terroir d’origine marine.
