te Pa is an independent, family-owned, and highly awarded wine company in Marlborough, New Zealand. The owner and founder of te Pa, Haysley MacDonald, traces his ancestry back to some of the earliest arrivals of Maori to the country, some 800 years ago so the brand has a unique history. One of just a handful of independently-owned Maori wineries in New Zealand, te Pa has authenticity and provenance in spades.

 

Proud member of Appellation Marlborough Wine, and a founding member of the TUKU Maori Winemakers Collective. All wines are sustainably-grown and vegan-friendly, and the majority of wines are now being produced in light-weight 385 gram bottles (one of the first in the NZ wine industry to adopt the more environmentally-friendly bottle weight).

 

The te Pa family of wines includes the flagship te Pa range, the ultra-premium te Pa Reserve Collection, which are both well suited to HORECA and fine wine / independent liquor retail. For larger volume retail and on-premise channels, te Pa offers its Montford Estate, Koha, and Pa Road brands which all are competitively priced and overdeliver on quality and value. Pa Road is a top 10 supermarket wine brand in New Zealand.
