Te Kano in the Māori language means the seed.  100% family owned by the Lloyd's, we run a true estate operation from vineyard to glass.  There are 4 significant vineyard sites: three in Central Otago, including one on the famed Felton Road, and one in Waitaki, Otago.

The brand focuses on quality, purity, and concentration; offering some of the most extensive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir plantings in the region.  At the heart of the philosophy is a focus on sustainability and organic practices, with the determination to leave the land better than we found it, a lasting legacy.
