About

Guerrieri Rizzardi is an historic, family owned, estate wine producer. The double name dates from 1914 ( by the marriage of the two noble families, Guerrieri and Rizzardi), but the wine history began in 1649 when the Rizzardi established their vineyards in Negrar ( Valpolicella) and in the XVIII century, when the Guerrieri family inherited the Bardolino and Valdadige estates. Soave is a later acquisition from the 1970’s.

The focus of Guerrieri Rizzardi is on its unique, cru vineyards which lie at the heart of these Classico regions, where, through the generations, the family selected and acquired some of the best vineyards in the area.

Nowadays the estate comprises around 100 hectares in Valpolicella, Bardolino ,Soave and the Valdadige as well as three different wineries.

Single vineyard expressions of Amarone (Calcarole), Bardolino (Delara) and Soave (Costeggiola & Ferra) have forged the company’s reputation.

We believe in producing wines as an expression of the soil and of the grape variety, thus enhancing the unique personality and character of each wine.

Ultimately, our goal is to produce wines of quality that have fruit purity, structure and are true reflections of the family’s vineyards.
