Focused on wine production that seeks the biodiversity of flora and fauna, Emiliana has become one of the largest organic and biodynamic wineries in the world.

Its more than 1,000 hectares planted in Chile’s most important wine valleys reflect the harmony between the highest quality of its wines, the expression of its origins, and its respect for the environment and its employees.

The transition from conventional to organic agriculture began in 1998, after having planted its own vineyards throughout Chilean wine country to develop the potential of different red and white varieties.

Led by brothers Rafael and José Guilisasti, Emiliana proposed to create wines that competed in quality with any wine in the world, and to do it in a way that respected the cycles of nature. To achieve this goal, the Emiliana team focused its agricultural work on sustainable production and using products that would cause no harm to the environment or humans in order to give back to the earth and its employees. And little by little they began converting the vineyards to organic and biodynamic agricultural management systems, along with social development programs.

Two decades later, what began with a dream is now reflected in a complete and differentiated portfolio of wines of the highest quality.
