Domaine des Monts d’Argent
Beaujolais in the clouds

Founded in 2024 in the village of Lantignié, Domaine des Monts d’Argent takes its name from the silver-tinted clouds that often linger over the hills surrounding the winery. Perched in the heart of the Beaujolais, our estate is a new chapter in the long winemaking tradition of the Derats-Dumay family.

Brothers Guillaume and Thomas Derats, passionate vignerons rooted in Burgundy heritage, cultivate 9 hectares of old vines between Lantignié and Villié-Morgon. The vineyards, planted at high density and traditionally pruned in gobelet, produce expressive Gamay wines from celebrated crus such as Morgon Côte du Py, Côte de Brouilly, Régnié, and Beaujolais-Lantignié — alongside a rare Chardonnay grown in Lantignié’s clay soils.

Our philosophy is simple: to let each terroir speak for itself. In the vineyard, soils are gently worked at the surface to preserve life and structure. In the cellar, we vinify as naturally as possible — no added sulfites during fermentation, only native yeasts, and zero additives that might alter the wine’s natural identity.

Every bottle from Monts d’Argent is a precise, pure expression of place — crafted with care, from vine to glass.
