Cantina del Taburno is located at the foot of Mount Taburno, in the heart of the Sannio Beneventano region.

Founded in 1972 in the municipality of Foglianise, the winery has become a benchmark for viticulture in the area, thanks to its enduring production philosophy and its significant economic impact on the local community. The grapes vinified by Cantina del Taburno are sourced from approximately 600 hectares of vineyards spread across various municipalities at the base of the mountain, including Foglianise, Torrecuso, Vitulano, Campoli del Monte Taburno, Castelpoto, Apollosa, Bonea, Montesarchio, Ponte, Tocco Caudio, Paupisi, and Benevento.

The viticultural ecosystem of this region is truly unique, shaped by the nature and orientation of the land, its particular climatic conditions, the grape varieties cultivated, and the agronomic techniques employed. The hilly terrain, rich in clay and calcareous marl, combined with mild winters and a well-distributed rainfall pattern between October and March, as well as hot, dry summers, all contribute to creating ideal conditions for high-quality viticulture—yielding outstanding red wines, white wines, and sparkling wines.
